I just recently watched After Love (I saw it on Amazon Prime, also available FREE on TUBI AND PLEX) and I was BLOWN AWAY! This movie has earned 13 awards out of 16 nominations....but anyway awards smawards...here is the brief synopsis:
Set in the port town of Dover, Mary Hussain suddenly finds herself a widow following the unexpected death of her husband. A day after the burial, she discovers he has a secret just twenty-one miles across the English Channel in Calais.
The secret the thought he went to his grave with was as they say, “What's done in the dark will always be brought to light”. The pain of the discovery and how everyone deals with it is the story. Silence of the story, silence of the secret, silence of grief...what would you do?
